The « Bricelets » are the best childhood memories, given by beloved people.
An easy making for infinite flavors.

Bricelets = Fribourg’s waffle speciality

Time: 1 to 2 hours
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

- 1 liter of thick double cream
- 650g of sugar
- 7dl of white wine or 5dl of white wine and 2dl of water
- 1dl of kirsch
- around 900g of flour
- 1 pinch of salt

Step by step instructions:

Mix the cream, the wine and melt the sugar. Add the salt and the flour to obtain a smooth pastry. Let it rest for 1 to 2 hours. Add kirsch at the last minute. Use a waffle-maker to cook it and roll them immediately. Let them cool off and keep them in a closed box.
