For horse lovers, the Avenches National Equestrian Institute (IENA) organises the traditional horse festival in collaboration with Haras National Suisse. Countless equestrian competitions, such as the National FM, the Swiss sports horses’ championship, trotting and galloping races as well as family days called “Discovering the horse” are held on IENA’s unique site.
