The Auberge de Tissiniva welcomes hikers for a gourmet stopover with a view.
This is an inn and alpine chalet with a strong reputation in the Charmey region, high up on the Vounetse summit. Nature lovers will be able to discover a new menu composed of traditional flavours, as well as a breathtaking and picturesque setting.
Wild garlic fondue, chalet pasta flamed at the table, entrecote served on a hotplate to be perfected in herb butter, Malakoff, calf's liver röstis, artisanal boards to be tasted on the terrace in the sun with a glass of wine from a local wine producer. To give you just a few examples that will make your mouth water.
The majority of the dishes are homemade and come from a short supply chain. All the cheeses are made by Gérard Biland, the father of the new manager who runs the establishment, Rémi.
We invite hikers to wear good shoes and bring a headlamp (if they are walking!)
