Vineyard path La Riviera
With 152 hectares of vineyards, the Vully, located on the shores of Lake Murten, is the smallest of the major Swiss wine-growing regions. Learn more about this beautiful destination thanks to this 5km itinerary between Sugiez and Môtier.
This hiking route will allow you to learn more about the Vully vineyard and its specificities. In some villages, you will have the opportunity to taste the excellent local wines in a cellar or restaurant.
The itinerary, marked with the Vully vineyard path signs, can start in Sugiez, Praz or Môtier. It follows concrete and rolling paths, which are also used by the winegrowers to reach their plots. Boards provide information on the vine, cultivation methods, seasonal work and the varieties grown. Moreover, the vast panorama can only amaze you! Finally, a pleasant boat trip from Môtier to Murten will perfectly finish your trip.
The "obstacle-free" route is also accessible for people with reduced mobility equipped with an electric wheelchair.
Tip: On your way, do not forget to taste the famous Vully Tart, which is another local specialty. It also goes perfectly with a wine tasting!
