The route to discover the churches and their stained glass windows begins at the Vitromusée Romont, Swiss Museum of Stained Glass and Glass Art. In Mézières, a stop at the Wallpaper Museum is recommended. Back in Romont, the trail stops at the 750-year-old Abbey of La Fille-Dieu. This itinerary can also be done with a guide.
The Vitromusée Romont, Swiss Museum of Stained Glass and Contemporary Glass Art, presents the history of stained glass through a large collection of stained glass and reverse glass paintings. Various temporary exhibitions and fun activities are organized such as the Vitrobrunch and the Vitroateliers.
The Wallpaper Museum in the « Château de Mézières£ » shows a unique ensemble of wallpapers in 12 renovated salons. The oldest of these works of art date back to the end of the 18th century. A wonderfully timeless ambience, even for temporary exhibitions.
