The “Grossmutterloch”

Visitors enjoy the winter sun glistening through the natural hole in the rock face of the Gastlosen. This hole, called “Grossmutterloch”, is due to erosion. The legend has it that the devil, angry with his grandmother, hurled her against the rock. This spectacular scenery can be seen several times during the winter.

Le Pralet

Winter sports enthusiasts keen to discover the appeal of ski touring or who have already gained their first experience should look no further. Two marked routes lead to the summit of Le Pralet at an altitude of 1568 m.a.s.l. Feel on top of the world and enjoy breathtaking views of the Western Alps and Lake Geneva.

Murten Licht-Rundgang 

The «Licht-Rundgang» makes March shine! The tour will take place from the 3rd to the 28th of March 2021 at the Museum of Murten and the old fire station and will last about two hours. Ticket required.
