The family-friendly ski areas in Schwarzsee, Charmey, La Berra, Jaun, Moléson-sur-Gruyères, Rathvel and Les Paccots impress visitors with their well-maintained infrastructure, popular children’s ski schools and competitive pricing. The Magic Pass offers free skiing in these ski areas – as easy as it can be. You find as well many ski lifts suitable for beginners, for example at La Chia near Bulle or on the Gibloux near Villarlod.

Schwarzsee
Young and old can easily reach the ski area, which is situated at 1500 m above sea level and counts 4 ski lifts. A total of 20 km of slopes are available, and a modern snow machine ensures snow reliability. Particularly popular are night sledging and night skiing from Riggisalp, after a delicious fondue at the alpine restaurant. Let’s go!More information
Charmey
The Charmey cable car will take you to Vounetse, starting point of many walks, and gateway to the ski area with around 30 km of slopes. The area is particularly attractive for its varied activities: sledging, cross-country skiing, ski touring and snowshoe trekking. Adrenaline junkies dare to whizz down the 13 ziplines high above the snow-covered fir trees.More information
La Berra
The area offers around 20 km of slopes, which are served by 6 ski lifts. Marked snowshoe routes and ski tour possibilities complete the offer. And by the way: high-flyer of the freestyle ski scene, Mathilde Gremaud, still likes to spend some moments here.More information
Jaun
Jaun is the only German-speaking village in La Gruyère. With a total of 4 ski lifts and 25 km of slopes, the area is considered particularly picturesque. For cross-country skiers, it is the place to be. The toboggan run, which is about 6 km long, is popular all over the region. Its unique view on the “Grossmutterloch” is considered THE insider tip.More information
Moléson
Day trippers, sporty families and adrenaline junkies will all be happy on the wonderful mountain of leisure. The black run is legendary, but skiers can also have fun on the blue and red runs. Rathvel and Les Paccots
The two ski resorts of Les Paccots and Rathvel are ideal for families and beginners. Les Paccots counts 11 ski lifts and around 20 km of slopes. In Rathvel there are about 8 km of slopes with 4 ski lifts. The winter world of this region is ideal for snowshoe and ski touring and impresses with idyllic landscapes and a beautiful panorama.More information

The Magic Pass is an annual pass accessible for everybody and valid from the opening of cablecars in May until the end of the following winter season.
