La Chia snowshoe trail
This snowshoe route offers wonderful views of Fribourg’s Pre-Alps, the Moléson, Lake Gruyère and the Gibloux, as well as of the Gruyères Castle. Snow-covered forests and landscapes add to the winter wonderland feeling. At the end of the 5 km tour, you can warm up in the Buvette des Amis de La Chia (open on weekends).More information
EcOtrace La Berra
The 3.3 km snowshoe hike offers nice views and variety. The tour leads from the valley station of La Berra cable car to the Gîte d’Allières. On the way, forest paths, sunny sections and parts at the border of the ski slopes alternate. When you arrive at the gîte, enjoy a well-deserved break on the terrace before you start your descent.More information
Snowshoe route to the Vounetse summit
This 5 km snowshoe route starts at the mid-station of the Charmey cable car and ends at the Vounetse summit. Once arrived, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Fribourg’s Pre-Alps. The summit restaurant Les Dents Vertes spoils its guests with regional specialties throughout the winter.More information
Schwyberg Trail
The 8.75 km long Schwyberg Trail is wonderfully decelerating. Where once upon a time there was lively ski tourism, peace and nature have returned today. On top of the Schwyberg, a breathtaking view from the Alps to the Jura awaits you - the perfect place for the picnic you take out from your backpack.More information
Snowshoe path Rathvel
The ascent of this 8 km snowshoe tour leads through fields of snow and snow-covered fir trees. At the summit of the Niremont you can enjoy an unforgettable panorama from Mont-Blanc over the Jura, Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel to Moléson. On the way back, treat yourself in the restaurant La Cabane du Petit Oiseau.More information
