The Week of the Taste is a joyful national festival that fully participates in:
- promoting the diversity of tastes and food cultures present in our country
- preserving tradition and encouraging culinary innovation
- highlighting artisanal know-how
- encourage local and sustainable production
- make young people aware of taste, respect for food, the pleasure of cooking and eating well
- make consumers aware of seasonality, production methods and food sovereignty
- promote health through a varied and balanced diet
