A good news for Formula 1 car enthusiasts, the Swiss Viper Museum offers tours on request to discover the passion of a collector.
The Viper Museum and the passion of Edwin Stucky on Dodge Viper and Viper GTS-R
Why is a Swiss car enthusiast with Valais roots looking for an American muscle car ? Edwin drove trucks in his early years. He also wanted to experience the feeling of a high torque truck in a street vehicle. The logical step was looking for a Dodge Viper as it is a sports car with V10 truck engine.
In 1992, Edwin had the opportunity to purchase his first Viper RT / 10. With that, Edwin went to the racetracks of the world very quickly to exploit the full potential of this sports car.
From 1994-1998, Edwin was in America several times in various Drivers School and learning how to move such a powerful racing car on the track. In 1999, Edwin bought an RT / 10 Challenge to apply and refine what he learned on the racetracks of Europe.
In November 2001 Edwin was able to buy his first real racing car (Viper GTS-R C30) directly from the Dodge factory. This was the beginning of the unique, largest racing viper collection in the world.
Today, the Swiss Viper Museum consists of more than 20 Dodge Viper, each with incredible historic racing histories like a Shelby Cobra Dayton or a Inaltera.
On a visit to the Swiss Viper Museum, Edwin would love to pass on his passion for these incredible sports cars and he has many interesting stories to tell.
The museum can be visited by groups of 6 to 25 people on reservation only and on request. Larger groups (clubs, etc.) are also welcome.
Entrance fee: CHF 30 or CHF 35 per person including an aperitif with drinks and coffee (without wine).
Duration: 1h to 1h1/2 for the visit
The visit is on French or German
