The villages of Jaun in La Gruyère is a real paradise for nature lovers!
At the end of the Jogne Valley, the village of Jaun welcomes you. Famous for its waterfall and its unusual cemetery, it is above all home to the Gastlosen, a majestic mountain range unique in Switzerland. Jaun (Bellegarde) and Im Fang (La Villette), the only German-speaking villages in La Gruyère, invite you to discover their typically Swiss chalets and their unspoilt nature.
The Jaun region offers a great range of winter sports, often with abundant snow cover. Both sports enthusiasts and nature lovers will find something to suit them. In the autumn and winter months, the Grandmother’s Hole is a must-see.
